On Track for More Trails in 2025!

We are working hard to expand mountain biking across the country! This year, OTM has teams digging in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Colorado, creating sustainable trails that riders of all levels can enjoy.

2024 Recap: What a Ride It’s Been!

2024 Recap: What a Ride It’s Been!

More Trails, More Excitement

Telemark, WI

We built nearly 3.5 miles of new trail, including Rumble Bee, Recess, Stormoen, Tapley, Charlie Girl, and the Hub Connector. The exciting news? We finally added enough trail this season to host the enduro events!

Breckenridge, CO

Our Rocky Mountain Youth Corps crews crushed it at Ellie’s Feature. They built 2,500 feet of new multi-use trail (part of 8,500 total feet). Plus, they showed the Barney Ford trails some serious TLC:

  • Reshaped and repaired six berms

  • Installed and improved 10 drainages

  • Removed 50 lbs of invasive plants 💪

  • Cleared 500 small lodgepole pine saplings

Timberland Hills, WI

What a productive season! Pathfinder Trail Building completed 7.2 miles of Timberbeast, a blue XC trail packed with jumps, berms, drops, and a unique feature where riders cross hand-sawn logs notched into boulders.

They also built an advanced Gravity Hub with three gravity lines—totaling about 1.5 miles—filled with berms and jumps.

This year, Timberland Hills also saw the addition of a new kiosk, a grand archway entrance, expanded parking, and a vaulted toilet!

Here’s what our WisCorps Crew Leader had to say about the experience working alongside Pathfinder this season:

“The trail builders we served with, Pathfinder Trails, taught us how to complete the finishing touches, build turns and jumps, shape berms, and also get to build all of the boardwalks within that trail system!”

WE GRAND OPENED TIMBERLAND HILLS!

More than 125 riders and supporters joined us last fall, including local high school teams and regional riders from the Twin Cities, Eau Claire, and Duluth.

The event featured bike demos from Northwoods Cycle and Riverbrook Bike & Ski, fix-it stations, and some seriously delicious BBQ from Shank N Shig.

With rave reviews for the new gravity zone and Timberbeast loop, this trail system is now a must ride destination!

What’s to Come in 2025

WELCOME BACK trail builders: Pathfinder Trail Building, Zenith Trail Contracting, Dirt Candy Designs, and Rock Solid Trail Contracting!

More Miles, More Access! New trails are coming to TImberland HIlls, Telemark, and Split Rock Wilds!

  • Pathfinder Trail Building and Zenith Trail Contracting are adding more miles at Timberland Hills.
  • Dirt Candy Designs returns to Split Rock Wilds this summer.
  • Rock Solid Trail Contracting will be back on-site at Telemark for the summer project.

Youth & Conservation Commitment. We’re dedicated to teaching the next generation of riders, builders, and conservationists. Expect more opportunities for youth trail workers to gain hands-on experience. We’re also excited to welcome back Montana Conservation Corps and Wisconsin Conservation Corps for another season of hard work, skill-building, and epic trail projects with OTM.
